A more strange superstition is the couple not being allowed to see each other before the ceremony. This comes from arranged marriages in the past, thinking that the couple seeing each other or speaking before the wedding gives them a chance to change their minds. I think that this comes from a concept a little bit far fetched. But, at the same time is sweet. It makes the first moment seeing each other dressed up and prepared to be married, a special moment.
