Wedding planners can sometimes feel the competition but in reality, there is never a competition. It’s funny cause I recently attended a wedding these last couple weeks and met a DJ who was convinced he was a wedding planner. All he kept saying was “I’m a wedding planner on the side” or “I could do this better than a wedding planner, no offense to your job”
Let’s think realism, wedding planners live and breathe this kind of stuff. We do this all day, every day. We know this field and industry way better than anyone else. Don’t let your DJ or any vendor fool you into believing that they know more when their specialty is something else.
Every vendor excels in their own type of field, and us wedding planners know our stuff quite well. I couldn’t believe this guy thought he was a wedding planner. This seriously made my night.
